The Rowan Tree

It is 1965 in a small town in Virginia, and the young men are gearing up to go off to war. After an accident forces her husband to stay at home, Grace must adjust to her new life as caretaker. As tensions rise between Grace and her mother-in-law, as well as her mounting money troubles, she finds her only source of comfort in confiding to a rowan tree seedling she receives as a gift. When a secret threatens to tear the family apart, Grace must learn that hope and courage are not just attained, they are planted. Based on a true story.

One morning, a mysterious crop circle appears in a corn field and with it, a series of unexplainable events cause the citizens to confront the question: If miracles do exist, what do you do with one when you get it?
